This headstone was found yesterday in the Toowong Cemetery.
It belongs to Ann Elizabeth DINTE who was born 1st of May in 1822 and died in Brisbane on 23rd of July in 1898.
Her parents were Henry ROBOTTOM and Ann GLAZEBROOK.
Ann is buried in Portion 5, Section 6, Grave Number 20.
The only word that can be seen on the half buried headstone is "forgotten"

ReplyDeleteI was photographing headstones in the Toowong Cemetery when I found this headstone almost buried by the ever growing grass and other debris.
A rather poignant reminder that sooner or later, we are all forgotten.
As a genealogist, I'm doing my bit to make sure we don't forget.
